I don’t write all the time. But if I’m writing something, I’ll just bang into it every day until it’s finished. I write pretty quickly.
It’s important to have the right strategy. I can’t commit to things or fight like I used to. I can’t just bang it out. I have to be more intelligent in training and in fighting.
Your body is like a piece of dynamite. You can tap it with a pencil all day, but you’ll never make it explode. You hit it once with a hammer: Bang! Get serious. Do 40 hard minutes, not an hour and half of nonsense. It’s so much more rewarding.

I think The ‘Cheetah Girls’ was originally supposed to be one film, but then it became two and three, which was a huge deal. But like all Disney franchises, they have to come to an end at some point. I was so grateful we went out with a bang. I think we died off peacefully.
It always depresses me when people moan about how commercial Christmas is. I love everything about it. The tradition of having this great big feast, slap bang in the middle of winter, is an essential thing to look forward to at the end of the year.
