One of the things I love about Fox News is that it looks at something and tries to figure out how it can be useful in the journey and bring everybody else along and lead the way.
I do watch a lot of Fox News. I like Charles Krauthammer and Bill O’Reilly.
I want to have a very definite style that people recognise as being ‘Fred Fox.’
On August 28, 2010, Fox News messiah Glenn Beck hosted a ‘Restoring Honor’ revival meeting featuring sexy guest star Sarah Palin, much as Bob Hope would roll out Raquel Welch in white go-go boots on his U.S.O. tours to give our fighting men a morale lift in their khakis.
Misinformation is a virus unto itself. And Fox News is the vector.
You actually see liberals checking ‘Fox News,’ if only to know what the conservatives are thinking. And you’re seeing conservatives who venture into liberal sources, just to know what ‘The New York Times’ is thinking.
When I first started my character in my first match with Alicia Fox, I walked out with my hair in a ponytail, and as soon as I got into the ring, I took the ponytail out and let my hair down, because I knew it would get messed up, and I didn’t want to look ridiculous on TV.
The White House wants us talking about racism and the justice system because they use it as a springboard to scare Americans about looting, aided by Fox News running episodes of violence on an incessant loop, that their hearts and minds won’t be able to look past the fear to see injustice.
We need a national service that throws us all together, the urban with the rural, the Fox News types with the MSNBC crowd. That way, Americans can get to know Americans and learn – as previous generations did – that we are all Americans.
One of the things that is for sure unique, we have never seen in this country a billion dollar propaganda industry in full service and in absolute control of an administration in the way that FOX News is.
I’m consistently pro-freedom. No matter where I go, whether it’s Fox or when I’m walking around the block or going to the dog park, I will agree with people on pretty much half of everything. Freedom is something I believe in across the board, and I will fight for that.
Fox News covers stories that some other news outlets won’t cover. We ask some questions that other news outlets wouldn’t ask. And sometimes that’s perceived as bias by people who’ve grown up in a world where there are only liberal outlets.
God has been my number one inspiration. I also look up to Will Smith and Jamie Fox who are also personal friends of mine. They give me great career advice. I would also include Chris Stokes, as a filmmaker and music producer. I’ve been working with him since I was eight.
Ultimately, college football is a huge passion of mine. In my opinion, I really feel ESPN owns college football. The only way I think I could have left ESPN was for an opportunity to call NFL games. That was the opportunity I had at Fox.
I’m not always up to date on everything that’s going on, but I am somewhat informed. I listen to NPR. And I actually watch Fox News, because I believe, if you just listen to the things that agree with you, you’re not really seeing anything else.
I feel like Fox did ‘Grease’ really right, I thought that was fantastic – it was so well mounted, well-executed, the performances were great, and it had a real sense of fun.
We’re always on the side of the animal that’s being chased. We always seem to be on the side of the rabbit or the fox and not on the side of the hounds.
There has been an attempt to pull in a more cable mentality to the big networks – from NBC hiring Scott Sassa from TNT, to FOX hiring Herzog from Comedy Central.
If Democrats don’t go on Fox News, it doesn’t mean that people stop watching.
Fox Newss unique blend of xenophobia and division has always been popular and highly lucrative.
Shepard Smith has frequently been the lone voice of reason on Fox News.
The smaller a group, the easier it is for more people to argue and enter into discussions. The U.S. is vast. It’s too large. The intellectuals hide out in enclaves, in big cities or universities, like a bunch of chickens hiding from a fox.
There are some programs on FOX that are not only fair and balanced, they’re commentary shows. They don’t have to be. But they brag about how fair and balanced they are. They don’t cover rallies and tea parties. They cheer lead for rallies and tea parties. And as a journalist, I am totally against that.
I don’t think the Tea Party people are racist, except maybe a tiny portion of them. But there has been a deliberate effort – again, referring to Fox Broadcasting – to inject the race issue into it. They have actually called Obama a racist on television.
Fox would hire me in a minute. And believe it or not, CNN would, too.
My way of remaining French was the financing scheme I used for Quest for Fire, with Fox funds, since it started as a 100% American production. The film was not in French and yet was French in style, reflecting my personality.
I’m not allowed on FOX, and I’m not allowed on MSNBC.
The only autograph I ever got, which I do not have anymore, was Matthew Fox when he was on ‘Party Of Five.’ I was in high school, and he came to our local amusement park, and I stood in line and got an autograph.
It makes one sad to see the sell-out of President Fox; really, it makes one sad. How sad that the president of a people like the Mexicans lets himself become the puppy dog of the empire.
I like Fox, but I also like Anderson Cooper and Don Lemon.
Some animals are cunning and evil-disposed, as the fox; others, as the dog, are fierce, friendly, and fawning. Some are gentle and easily tamed, as the elephant; some are susceptible of shame, and watchful, as the goose. Some are jealous and fond of ornament, as the peacock.
The human comedy is always tragic, but since its ingredients are always the same – dupe, fox, straight, like burlesque skits – the repetition through the ages is comedy.
Honestly, I would love to be friends with Fox Mulder on ‘The X-Files.’ That’s almost a little too obvious, but that would be my answer. I’d love to hang out with him.
I still quite enjoy watching Fox News because I think it makes me think through my arguments and make sure I’m on the right side.
By the time I got to the Fox studio for my first major film, I knew how to hit a mark. I knew how to memorize lines. I knew how to pay attention.
The greatest hoax of all of the Trump years is that Donald Trump has convinced one-third of the country not to believe not anything but Sean Hannity and Fox and Trump.
With a fresh start, I hope it’ll work out good. I know the whole Fox story and how he came over here and had a great year for them. I’m hoping that’s what it’ll be – fresh start, new faces, new team, new city. I’m looking forward to getting out there.
I go on all the channels, mostly CNN and MSNBC. I have gone on Fox every couple of months.
Conservatives don’t want to read good, smart books. They mostly want to read Fox and talk radio hosts writing about presidents.
We never imagined ourselves in this unbelievable situation that we’re in today such as having concerts all over the world and we believe this is all given to us by the Fox God.
You can turn on Fox News almost any day and see some fictional story about voter fraud, the whole purpose of which is to limit voting by the poor, the elderly, college students and minorities.
Fox News is nothing if not impressive. No matter how harsh the criticism it endures, the network somehow always manages to prove itself even worse than we had previously imagined.
I think that ‘Fox News’ is fair and balanced.
I am extremely proud of my accomplishments at ‘Fox News’ and for keeping our loyal viewers engaged and informed on events and news topics of the day.
If people don’t know who you are, they’re not going to listen to your message. And not everybody pays attention to politicians by watching Fox News and CNN.
We don’t really know a lot about the Fox God, but we believe in him.
In 2010, one in four Americans got the news from Fox News.
