My father-in-law and I always had great interest in Indian sport. At the Athens Olympics, watching the wrestling event, we started discussing the state of Indian sport – inadequate representation, lack of satisfactory results etc. We thought we should do something about it.
The Progress is launched from Baikonur in Kazakhstan, just like the Soyuz. It almost looks the same as the Soyuz but unmanned, so, essentially filled up with supplies for us – anything from food, science experiments, repair parts, etc., can go in it.

It was an easy decision for me which books to self-publish as ebooks. I got the rights back to two Avon books that I wrote at the start of my career. I paid to have these two books, ‘Bold Conquest’ and ‘Wild Hearts,’ scanned. When I got them back as documents, I had to clean them up and correct all the typos, etc.

Making African American films are hard in Hollywood. We need to rely on a support network and bring more cohesion to different filmmakers, actors, producers etc. It’s a very difficult business. There aren’t a lot of Africans Americans or people of color in high positions in Hollywood that we can green-light films.
Yes, genes are important for understanding our behavior. Incredibly important – after all, they code for every protein pertinent to brain function, endocrinology, etc., etc. But the regulation of genes is often more interesting than the genes themselves, and it’s the environment that regulates genes.

The gremlins are clearly the ones have the most fun in the film, trashing the town, going to the bar, smashing things, etc. It’s all gleeful chaos, which makes the movie fun.
The whole process of being one of the 10 finalists for the ‘Vogue’ Fashion Fund award has to be my biggest achievement to date. Meeting Anna Wintour, Diane von Furstenberg, etc., has been an amazing experience that even now gives me goose bumps when I think about it.
