Seventy years on, the wound of Partition is still raw. There have been some beautiful attempts like Garam Hava,’ but it’s not easy to make a film without hurting some sentiments.
I believe in any country, matters that relate to its territory would, of course, provoke strong sentiments amongst the people of that country.
I invite you, from my sentiments, my convictions and my responsibilities, to work together in the construction of a Uruguay where being young is not suspicious, where aging is not a problem.
