I grew up seeing my parents perform and sing, and I just always wanted to be singing, too. Music has always been my deepest passion and what I felt most connected to.
Before taking up law, I studied medicine for six months and then tried my hand at fashion designing for another six months. I wanted to find something that excited me. Finally, it was law that captured my interest.
When I was in college, I wanted to study film. My first passion was to be a cinematographer. So maybe there’s something innate in my music where it partners well with images.
I didn’t know exactly what I wanted to do in school, but I definitely didn’t have adequate time to reach my full potential as a student.
