Becoming a police officer is a choice. It’s not something you’re born into.
In life, you don’t really know what’s coming at you. Like a firefighter, or police officer, or anyone else working in the emergency field, they don’t know what’s going to come at them. You gotta be ready for anything.
You can’t be afraid to put out a fire if you’re a fireman. You can’t be afraid to be a police officer and carry a gun if you’re afraid to get up and go out there. So you’ve got to put that fear to the side and go out in faith to overcome that.
