I think I’ve been able to build up a wide range of styles in storytelling, using comics in different ways from project to project. I think my art has become more accomplished, although I try to keep it from becoming slick or superficial.

Modeling is so… not superficial. Well, I guess it is. But it’s boring.
I would love to be remembered for ridding the world of disease, but my knowledge of science comes from episodes of ‘Nova’ and shows on the Discovery Channel. I don’t think a superficial understanding of shark behavior and black holes can help cure diseases.
I do a lot of things for effect, which is not to say I am superficial, but that I know how to put ideas across.
