As a Londoner who delights in the capital’s dynamism and diversity, I none the less agree with Ken Livingstone that London hosts too great a share of our national institutions. Where sensible, more should be located in other cities, particularly new or reformed institutions that involve new facilities.
Growing up, watching the New Jersey Devils, I watched players like Ken Daneyko, Scott Stevens, Scott Niedermayer, old school players who respected the game.
Then I contacted Ken, then he called me back, then we had a great meeting. Then he called and asked if I would come back to the show. Which was awesome.
President Kennedy was willing to go to war. He was not a coward. The man had been in war and so had Ken O’Donnell. He was ready to protect this nation, but he was not ready for a military solution just because it was being rammed down his throat.
I would like to wrestle some guys again like Dolph Ziggler, Ken Anderson, and many others in the business.
My dad grew up wrestling. He knew Ken Shamrock, and I didn’t know who he was at the time. So, he found out that Shamrock was in a gym in Reno, and he wanted me to go try a class with him. I tried it and fell in love the first day. Ken told me that I had potential in this sport, and he’s the reason I kept at it.
He’s not anybody’s clone. He’s Ken Griffey, Jr. As long as he continues to remind himself of that, he’s going to be a very good player.
In the glory days of Orioles, when I was a newbie baseball writer for the Post, the roster of talkers was as good as the everyday lineup. Singy – Ken Singleton – Flanny, and Cakes – the underwear spokesman Jim Palmer – were my go-to guys, occupying stalls along one wall of the shabby chic clubhouse.
Ken Jeong might be my biggest fan.
I went and campaigned for Ken Cuccinelli and did a fund-raiser for Ken Cuccinelli. He’s not from my faction of the Republican Party, but you know what? When the nominee is chosen, we have got to come together, or we will never lead.
Ken Lay, the disgraced former chairman of Enron, found a way to escape his legal problems: He died after being convicted of fraud and conspiracy charges.
I am in awe of Ken Jennings’s accomplishments, as all ‘Jeopardy!’ fans are. Simply being compared to him is an honor.
If Bush does make it to the White House, he and Laura should have Ken Starr over for dinner.
Kids don’t plan to play. They don’t go: ‘Barbie, Ken, you ready to play? It’s gonna be a three-act.’
Joe Morgan was the one guy that absolutely put our team really over the top. … Then we had George Foster come in; Ken Griffey Sr. was as good a two-place hitter as there has ever been in the game, and Cesar Geronimo won four Gold Glove awards. I mean, how could you ask for a better team?
No matter what you do, people are gonna try to emulate you. Whether it’s a dunk by Michael Jordan or a swing by Ken Griffey Jr., kids are doing the same things.
I never had an understanding of Billy Martin. I did not accept the way he managed me. I did not accept the way he managed Ken Holtzman. I thought there was anti-Semitism there.
Presidents routinely testify in criminal cases. You know, George W. Bush did it with Valerie Plame. Bill Clinton did it three times with Ken Starr. Gerald Ford did it with respect to a testimony about a Charles Manson follower. And Ronald Reagan, I think, is perhaps the most important precedent.
And then ‘Wanderlust,’ Ken Marino and David Wain wrote the funniest – they’re amazing. That was one of my most favorite creative experiences; we’re all up at that commune, a small group of people. Everyone was funnier than the next. It was an amazing ensemble feeling. Everyone gave and took in the best way.
It’s such a pleasant surprise when you come on set and you find someone in charge like Ken Branagh or James Ivory. You know that you’re going to do a day’s work and at the end of it, it’s going to be good.
I named all my sons George Edward Foreman. And I tell people, ‘If you’re going to get hit as many times as I’ve been hit by Mohammad Ali, Joe Frazier, Ken Norton, Evander Holyfield – you’re not going to remember many names.’
I was fortunate to play for Pete Rose and have teammates like Ken Griffey Sr., Tony Perez and Dave Concepcion. I grew up in the game with a mature attitude. I’ve always known it was better to be seen and not heard.
In 2010 I had signed three big banner films with actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Tabu, Arjun Rampal. Directors like Ken Ghosh, Bela Bhansali signed me and I had got my signing amounts but those films did not take off at all.

Before the season begins, I had even damaged some frames, but Ken did not hold it against me and kept all his confidence. He was the one who incontestably changed my life, because without his help, I do not know what I will have become.
Personally, I don’t give a toss about French viewers. I make films for foreigners – it’s a bit like Ken Loach, who’s not very popular in England but has had a lot of success in France. Cinema is always an experience in a foreign body.
My sporting heroes were Ken Jones, Stanley Matthews, and Cliff Morgan.
We have over an hour of footage with Ken Marino. Same with Kevin Smith. Because you never know, when you let people who are so talented at improv go, what you’re going to get. You don’t want to strangle them with your own words, because probably what they’re going to say is way better.
Someone once described Ken Lewis to me as the most competitive person in the history of the United States, including the Union Army.
ThinThread was not the program of record of my predecessor, Ken Minihan, OK. I did not make ThinThread the program of record while I was director. After I left in 2005, Keith Alexander also chose not to make ThinThread the program of record.
My all-time favorite TED talks are Brene Brown’s ‘The Power of Vulnerability’ and Sir Ken Robinson’s ‘Do Schools Kill Creativity.’
If anybody is a master at improvisation, it would be Ken Jeong. He is hilarious.
After being signed by WWE, Edge, Christian, Mark Henry, Giant Silva, Test and Ken Shamrock all trained at my house. I had a pool room with an indoor pool and a garden behind it. I took out the garden and put in a wrestling ring.
Most of the people that I still talk to and hang out with, to them, I’m just Ken.
I ask questions, and a large part of my life has been spent asking questions of Ken Livingstone.
Kids don’t plan to play. They don’t go: ‘Barbie, Ken, you ready to play? It’s gonna be a three-act.’
Most people don’t know who Ken Mehlman is. He’s the chairman of the Republican Party, obviously, but what he’s doing that Howard Dean isn’t doing is spending a lot of time on the nuts and bolts of putting the party together.
He’s not anybody’s clone. He’s Ken Griffey, Jr. As long as he continues to remind himself of that, he’s going to be a very good player.
I ask questions, and a large part of my life has been spent asking questions of Ken Livingstone.
Before the season begins, I had even damaged some frames, but Ken did not hold it against me and kept all his confidence. He was the one who incontestably changed my life, because without his help, I do not know what I will have become.
I asked him a number of questions and I got some very interesting answers. Ken’s heroes, according to Christopher, would be people like John Wayne, of course.
To work with Ken Branagh was amazing; it was always a dream of mine to work with a man as creative and talented as that.
In the old days, when Muhammad Ali was fighting Ken Norton, Joe Frazier and George Foreman, there was a lot of excitement in the heavyweight division, I have to admit it.
TV tends to look for the living equivalents of squeaky-clean Kens and Barbies, but with my dial I’m more like Ken’s dirty old uncle.
It depends who the director is you know, I mean Ken Loach for instance. I’ve done up to 32 takes with him.
Someone once described Ken Lewis to me as the most competitive person in the history of the United States, including the Union Army.

My second fight at UFC 1, I fought Ken Shamrock. In the fight I choked him. As soon as he tapped, I let go. He tried to continue, but the ref got kind of stuck like, ‘should I let it go or stop the fight.’ That’s when I looked at the ref and I said, let it go, we’re going to continue.
Anybody who thinks there’s not a vast right-wing conspiracy in this country must also think that Ken Starr should be our next ambassador to Luxembourg.
I was still in school when I heard about this audition for this fairness cream ad. I got selected and subsequently, did a lot of ads and I got noticed by Ramesh Taurani and Ken Ghosh and ‘Ishq Vishk’ happened.

Ken Lay has, does and will continue to accept responsibility for the fall of Enron. He was the man at the controls. But failure is not a crime.
When looking through the spiritual eye, or the third eye encased within the human mind, one can see vividly beyond the ken of human eyesight, beyond the material atom, and into the future, thereby transcending the limitations of time and space.
