Radio dramas have disappeared. What we do have now is books on tape, which I find wonderful. I’ve done some of those. Otherwise, radio acting is now gone.
I am keen to work in romantic stories and dramas.
The reality of any location in Britain being used in a TV program of a film is that something bad is going to happen! That’s the nature of drama. Most of the things that get made or basically grisly detective shows about murders, accidents or medical dramas.
I watch a lot of TV dramas.
I love gritty dramas, ‘Queen Sugar,’ ‘True Detective’ – stuff like that, but I also love quippy comedies – those multi-cam comedies with incredibly talented and funny casts with perfect comedic timing.
There are so many romantic comedies made, but very few dramas or love stories. And with a love story, you have to take time to develop three-dimensional characters.
