If I was in some Marvel movie and made all that Marvel money, you wouldn’t see me ever again.
I personally have close ties to Marvel because of Kevin Feige, because Kevin worked for me.
I make a lot more off the trades and Image than Marvel.
If you look back on my career with Marvel, you will see that I don’t really return to the House of Ideas to do Captain Marvel, Adam Warlock, and Silver Surfer stories. I always come back to the fold to tell further adventures of everyone’s favorite Mad Titan.

When Marvel approached me about possibly bringing back a She-Hulk solo series, a few touchstones for a take immediately popped into my head – make her an attorney. Make her charming and fun, not weighed down by the various things life will throw at her. Give her a vibrant social life.
I’m a huge Howard the Duck fan. For people who don’t know, I’m a huge Marvel Comics fan, but Howard the Duck was maybe my favorite character as a kid. I went back, and I collected all of those comics. I had every comic he was ever in.
