Two quarters doesn’t make a trend, but it’s a heck of a lot better than none.
I think my heart always goes out to men at the peak of their celebrity who checked out. There’s such an odd, horrible trend in my lifetime for it – Kurt Cobain, David Foster Wallace, Alexander McQueen, Heath Ledger.
The trend today is vampires, zombies, angels, all the stuff that puts me right to sleep. It’s too bad because it’s so much less interesting than the diversity of stories you can tell with science.
I never try to follow a trend or fashion.
I suppose my attitude is what’s most important is that we surround the president’s misleading information with accurate information and help people know what is true ’cause I think the biggest trend of the Trump years is that people are increasingly confused about what is real and what is made-up.
