Weddings happen once. That’s the point. They’re a bluster of confetti and hope all wrapped up in sticky wedding cake and four-year-old girls in big dresses with massive bows.
I myself am not particularly interested in restaurant cooking. I don’t really want to learn how to make a napoleon. I’d much rather learn how to make a very good lemon cake, which you can make in your own home. I like plain, old-fashioned home food.
There are going to be birthdays, weddings, BBQs and work dos and you are entitled to have a few drinks, a slice of cake, a pepperoni pizza or an Easter egg every now and then.
