The kinds of films I like are the ones that take their time. If you reach an emotional pinnacle too early on in a film, that’s kind of it. I think, as in real life, when you’re getting to know someone, it starts off slowly.
Are we the only members of the Galaxy that can actually understand what a galaxy is? Could Homo sapiens really be the pinnacle of Creation – the cleverest critters in the cosmos? If we learn the answer is ‘no,’ that would affect our philosophies forever.
Every person is endowed with God-given abilities, and we must cultivate every ounce of talent we have in order to maintain our pinnacle position in the world.
