I love conceptual art and artistic expression.
Every Chanel show I’ve been to is very conceptual. Even down to the music and smells, the whole thing is connected.
I do think from time to time that conceptual questions arise: What do we mean by equilibrium? What do we mean by this concept and that concept?
In my opinion, the most significant works of the twentieth century are those that rise beyond the conceptual tyranny of genre; they are, at the same time, poetry, criticism, narrative, drama, etc.
