But at the end of the day, I want people to say that I played a major role in restoring people’s confidence in the ability of state government to be on their side, to fight for them, and again – I’ll say it again – to get things done.
I’m not driven to get back into politics. It’s not on my top five things to do before I die, but saying that, I may be in politics in the next year or the next ten years. I’ve been on the front line for 12 years, four in state government, eight on the national level.
I am happy to announce that to provide remunerative price to millets-growing farmers and to improve the nutritional security, state government will procure millets and utilize them in government schemes.
Enough of these little kitty cats we keep sending to Washington. David Dewhurst will compromise every day in the U.S. Senate… It’s what he’s done every day in state government.
I don’t think it’s any secret that the public has lost confidence in the state government, and there’s a lot of work that needs to be done on issues related to public integrity.
New Hampshire state government is a big customer for prescription drug companies. Just as businesses do, we should take advantage of the bargaining power we have as a big customer.
State government owes it to every taxpayer to be as fiscally responsible as possible.
I do believe ultimately the role is of our state government to ensure every child in this state has a great public school education.
I have kept a steady focus on restoring public faith in our state government since taking office July 1. Now it is time to make even bigger and bolder gains through legislative action.
