I believe the conservatives need to push back against the ungrateful habit of blaming the West by pointing repeatedly to the self-inflicted wounds of the Third World.
I certainly feel I’m carrying the flag for Britain. I feel an honour in that but, at the same time, knowing my roots are in Africa, I’d like that to help motivate people from there. Even coming from a third world country, it is possible to get to the top of wherever they want to be.
I think any celebrity that adopts a child from a third world country is a fool.
In Iran, we had a really good life. Everything is good. Iran is considered, I think, a Third World country. I don’t know what it is considered but it’s not considered to be up there.
