I think I’d be a million times more successful and more iconic if I was a singer in the ’40s. I’d be allowed a level of mystery, and I think I’d suit that decade.
If I go to an awards ceremony, I wear a suit, of course I do. I am proud to be there. If there are young kids looking at pictures of me, I want them to feel that they should long for the opportunity to go somewhere really smart and wear a beautiful suit, rather than to reject that.
Motion capture is amazing. I prefer it. You wear a ‘Power Ranger’-esque suit, you have tape balls on you, you have 60 cameras around you capturing your every movement and there’s no hair, no makeup.
I look really good in a scuba suit.
