It was endlessly entertaining, watching people beat each other up. All the little kids in the neighborhood would come and watch… and then we’d beat them up as well.
I take pride in the fact that a lot of little kids dig what I do.
Kevin Durant would be welcome back in Oklahoma any time he’s willing to come, and I want to be the first one he calls. He took care of the victims of our tornadoes. He took care of families. Took care of little kids. So, he has a heart, and he’s not a bad ballplayer.
But now I have a lot of little kids who watched Invader Zim whenever they could find it on television.
A lot of people assume I have a great hat collection, but kids steal my hats at every show. I’ve had all these hats that I’ve loved, but now they’re in some little kids’ possession. It’s difficult to replenish. I don’t think the kids realize this.
I love teaching; I love little kids.
Little kids grow up discovering the world that’s shown to them and then when you become a teenager, it kind of shrinks a little bit. I think when you get past that point, one of the important things is that you see there is more to the world than yourself.
I am a struggling writer. A middle-aged man with two little kids and I’m just trying to earn a living. So buy this book – or my kids will have to go to foster care.
What bothers me the most are the Republicans and the Democrats: they act like little kids. They are lying to real people out here trying to get through life.
I’m not against watching myself, but I miss a lot of it. I’ve got two little kids who we don’t let watch TV.
My last book, ‘The Language of Flowers,’ I wrote completely on naptime, when my little kids were asleep.
