For more than eight decades, Washington has been my hometown. My whole orientation is toward this place.

Mitchell case where the U.S. Supreme Court upheld Wisconsin’s hate crime law that included sexual orientation. Ohio’s should include it as well, and we support it.
At the end of the day, I say, ‘You do you.’ You shouldn’t be focusing on convincing people what your sexual orientation is.
When we talk about feminism – equality without apology for all – we can’t be talking about for all white women or all highly educated women but all women, regardless of color, class, creed, sexual orientation or identity.
