I’ve watched with a kind of wary eye how gaming has progressed. I was there at the beginning with Pong in the arcade, and a lot of my great childhood memories were around a ‘Tempest’ machine.

It probably wasn’t until I was a freshman in high school and I met the people who became my gaming group that I finally found people who were weird like I was: that loved reading and playing games and not just watching a science fiction or fantasy movie but talking all about it.
As much fun as it is gaming, I have so much to do that I’ve had to get away from them. I still enjoy them. When I go to a friend’s house and they have a game on, I’ll happily join in and play.
