What I love with ‘Game of Thrones’ is, every season, I get to continue to develop the existing themes; every season, I also get to write new themes.
To all the younglings I come across in ‘Game of Thrones’ who suddenly find themselves well known, I say the theatre is your best friend – they will remember you.
The fans of ‘Game of Thrones’ are dedicated. It’s really nice to talk to them, why they love the show and what it means to them. It’s a real pleasure.
I had a great time on ‘Game of Thrones.’
It’s not like I love dragons! Only on ‘Game of Thrones!’ Our dragons are amazing, and they look really real. But I think after ‘Game of Thrones,’ I won’t be a fantasy fan.
People are like, ‘What’s Game of Thrones about?’ I’m like, ‘It’s in the title.’ For real, this is a game for the Iron Throne. No matter what character you are, you’re sucked into that at some point.
I’m a huge ‘Game of Thrones’ fan. Khaleesi is my full-on idol.
I don’t like watching television too much; it tires me out for some reason. But I saw a fair bit of ‘Game of Thrones’ because it was so good. I mostly watched episodes that I wasn’t in.
There is a part of me that really just thinks it would be so funny to see the ‘Veep’ characters in ‘Game of Thrones.’
I watch a lot of television. The stuff that they’re putting on television, series like ‘The Americans’ and ‘Game of Thrones,’ it’s so superior to most of the films that are coming out of Hollywood in terms of drama, certainly in terms of what we’re interested in.
Brits are cool at the moment. We’ve taken over the world, what with ‘Game of Thrones’, ‘Downton Abbey’, One Direction… to be British is to be fashionable.
‘Game of Thrones’ couldn’t be a movie. There’s too much in it. You couldn’t do it justice.
I don’t really watch a load of ‘Game Of Thrones.’
