Playing a concert for 2 hours is pie. I would do that every minute of every day if I could. I love to perform. It’s the 22 hours before the next show that kills you.
I was never a sit-in-the-audience-type person. Even as a little kid, when I saw a band performing at a restaurant, I would ask them if I could sing a song.
If I could compete at home, and never leave Rochester, I’d be in perfect condition.
It’s a business. If I could make more money down in the zinc mines I’d be mining zinc.
When I played Dean Martin, he was dead when we made the movie but there would have been nothing better than to spend a week with Dean Martin if I could have.
So in my sophomore year, I took a senior anatomy class. I thought anatomy – being the thing that I should be most interested in – and if I could hack, as we called it, a senior class, I would continue. I didn’t hack the senior class.
I think differently, I think it’s about reaching everybody on every different plane and every different level, and if I could remix the song and do a dance remix, that’s great. If I could do a classical version, that’ll be great too. It’s all just about expression.
If I could have the discipline to be super-skinny, I would be.
I almost never cry, and it’s something I don’t like about myself. I sometimes try and make myself cry. Sometimes, when I’m in pain, I say if I could just cry it would make it so much easier.
