I eat a lot of fruit after I run. I find that hydrates me better than just drinking water. I have fruit already cut up for after a run, so when I’m done I can chow on cantaloupe or watermelon. It’s so satisfying, and that probably keeps me from being too hungry for other things.
What’s the problem with ‘never?’ It keeps you from trying. It ensures that you will fail. End of story.
I feel like theatre gives me the grounding, and keeps me alive, basically. Film gives me the thrill, and it’s like a one night stand. But I do enjoy being around people who love it so much.
The life of a dancer is tragically short. What is remarkable about the New York City Ballet is that it makes us forget that. Because it keeps the ballet alive.
I want to establish a wide range and play all kinds of parts. It’s that sort of acting career I really respect. I like to turn a sharp left from whatever I’ve done before because that keeps me awake. That’s why I want to be an actor – I don’t want to play endless variations on one character.
There was always a feeling for me that it would work. That’s what keeps me going. You go in with a positive attitude and stay there, and that’s a big part of what does make it work.

I only box. It’s the only thing that keeps me sane. I can’t just go to the gym and run. I’d rather die. I played volleyball and rode horses my entire life, so just, like, moving to a city and having to go the gym was just, like, so weird for me.
The big artist keeps an eye on nature and steals her tools.
Hugh Jackman really inspired me as a kid. He’s a cool Aussie guy who works very hard, and he’s a fantastic actor. Obviously, he keeps really fit. He seems like he’s happy acting. Who knows if he really is, but he gives you that impression.
