Taxation is not charity. It is not voluntary. As we shrink the state and make government smaller, we will find that more and more people are able to take care of themselves.
Greece is an extreme case: a country where both the level of spending and the level of taxation were unsustainable!

A huge part of Apple profits generated in Europe, in African countries, Middle East, and India were all booked in Ireland. And I think it is a very basic principle in taxation that your profits are taxed where the profits are generated.
When governments run on petro dollars or petro revenue instead of taxes, then they kind of sever the link between taxation and representation, and if you’re not being taxed, then you’re not being represented.
This is a form of double taxation and it’s simply unfair.
Confiscatory taxation enforced by threat of imprisonment is ‘stealing,’ a practice strongly frowned upon by our Creator.
