Well, I haven’t really been able to shoot in California for a while. Little movies yeah, but the big movies we can’t shoot there. It’s just a shame that Arnold Schwarzenegger can’t deliver on this level.
But, yeah, I’d love to do something else in someone else’s movie.
I speak a little bit of Italian, yeah. I understand more than I speak. I speak more of a dialect; my mum’s from Naples and my dad’s from Sicily, so it comes out little a bit of a cocktail of the Italian language.

I started off in musical theater, yeah. It was one of my first jobs; it was in Spring Awakening in London, which was amazing.
I say, ‘Yeah, Taylor Swift.’ I think she is a smart, beautiful girl. I think she’s making all the right moves. She’s got a good head on her shoulders. She’s surrounded with wonderful people. Her songs are great. She keeps herself anchored. She knows who she is, and she’s living and standing by that.
Yeah, ‘Feed the Dog’ is just a really fun, teenage movie with Nat Wolff and Selena Gomez and all these other great people. It’s just so silly-funny, and my character’s super-fun.
Do I like tawdry, sleazy stories? Yeah, I do.
Yeah, it’s disturbing when someone has no self-awareness.
The nude scenes were a little eerie and I felt a bit odd. Yeah, when the camera scanned up my body, I said to my friend, ‘Now, that’s a close-up.’ I mean, you see every inch of my body. But I’m okay with it and so it was cool.
I think one of the most humiliating moments of my life was putting on spandex, personally. It’s always nice when four women pull you into spandex when you’re in jockey shorts. Yeah.
I never had a desire to hurt anybody. I have at certain times had violent urges, but I don’t think I ever have hurt anybody. Tried to a couple times, but I don’t think I have. Yeah, guess I have. In high school. I was dirty then. Kick ’em. I might not’ve hurt ’em, though, they might’ve just been afraid of me.
I’ve done four other films since ‘Submarine,’ so that’s quite cool. It’s just good to have people respect your work; I’ve never had that before. Yeah, my life has changed crazy. I’m a kid from a small town in south Wales, I play my Xbox usually and all that sort of stuff, and it’s a whole new world.
Yeah, people following me down the street and at the airport and all that. I can’t imagine what it must be like for people who are, you know, actually famous.

I finally realized that yeah I did want to be an actor and it wasn’t out of habit, but I needed to grow up for myself and then kind of re-enter the industry with a sound understanding of what my sensibilities and my values are as a relatively formed human being.

Yeah, there’s probably been times when I’m watching cable and seeing there’s like three movies that Jack’s in and I’m sitting hogging a bag of Cheetos in my underwear and I think ‘God, what happened to me? Why can’t I be something special like Jack?’

When I tell my friends, ‘I’m in the ‘Bourne’ movie,’ they’re like, ‘Congratulations! Wait… is Matt Damon coming back?’ I go, ‘Yeah.’ And they’re like, ‘Yo! Matt Damon! Matty D!’ Everyone pretends they know Matt Damon. It’s exciting.
For the most part, yeah, I’m happy with my body, but there are days when I’m like, ‘Ugh! Really? Why is it so hard to fit into my jeans?’ That’s when I say to myself, ‘I look this way because I’m supposed to. If we all looked the same, we’d be boring.’

I obviously identify with the anti-authority figure. I’ve pretty much always had problems with authority, ever since I was a kid. But, yeah, it’s not identifying, I think it’s more a part of my natural DNA that I question anybody who has a plan. Everybody’s got to have an angle; that’s the way I grew up.
Dick Cheney said he was running again. He said his health was fine, ‘I’ve got a doctor with me 24 hours a day.’ Yeah, that’s always the sign of a man in good health, isn’t it?
Yeah, well, the F-bomb – it’s become as ubiquitous as the word ‘like.’ People just throw the word ‘like’ around as punctuation. And I think in a lot of everyday speech, the F-bomb has become a kind of dash or a comma.
Yeah, I’ve done Jim Breuer’s radio show a couple times, and I heard from Larry the Cable Guy when I got ‘Mike & Molly,’ wishing me congratulations. I’m always the last one to the party, man. But that’s okay. I got there.
When I made it, I still didn’t wave the flag and say, Yeah go Asian people. I do want people to know that about me, but I always felt like at least musically, let me just do what I do and be the best at it. Which is what I’m doing right now.

Love is such an objective thing. I mean, I can say I love my family, or I love my Diet Coke. So I guess, in different ways, yeah, I do believe in love.
I’m not looking for pity, I’m really not, but I’m constantly uneasy and every day it is pretty much like getting up and going to war. Once I shift into the mindset of ‘Yeah, you’re alive. It’s tough. Let’s do what we can today,’ it’s easier.
You just need an opportunity and then you yourself have to do a good job, and then you hope that people go, ‘Oh yeah, I forgot about her.’

Yeah, I am in favor of migration. But I am also in favor of education. But at the same time, I am in favor of progressive taxation. I think we need all of this. I think we don’t have to choose one.
My dad was on ‘Zombieland,’ and I love that movie. So yeah, I think I like the horror genre!
