LeBron’s had so many legendary moments because he was in the NBA Finals eight or nine years straight, and because to that his brand will endure and keep growing.
For anywhere – not Los Angeles, not Miami, not Detroit, Milwaukee – I think for LeBron, and for most athletes, the most important thing is about winning.
I love sports – I am a die-hard fan of soccer, and I am always at Maracana Stadium in Rio watching Flamengo play. I am also a big fan of basketball; I stay up at night to watch Lebron James play whenever I can.

If you’ve ever seen photos of LeBron James away from the basketball court, it’s obvious he takes great pride in his appearance.
I think LeBron looked up to him as another person he could learn from, and LeBron is an avid learner.
More than’ is the tagline of the company LeBron and I started in November 2014 called Uninterrupted. ‘More Than’ is Uninterrupted’s ‘Just Do It’ or ‘Think Different.’
I think there’s something about wanting to stand in the spotlight. I think the ball is a spotlight, for example, and I think they want to stand in that. I a lot of times see – LeBron is a guy that vacillates between wanting to do that and then wanting to get somebody else involved.
I’ve had to guard Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and Dirk Nowitzki. I’ve had to guard the best person on the opposing team.
Nobody impacts winning more than LeBron James.
I’ve only met LeBron casually. He’s always been great to me. I think I’ve been great and cordial to him, but this notion that we have to be friends – we’re never gonna be friends. And that’s not a negative thing.
If I could coach LeBron James for one year, I could make him an All-Pro wide receiver.
Nobody can be LeBron.
Well, the LeBron James of the world don’t come around very often. That’s a once-in-a-lifetime kind of thing.
It’s just something about great players when they play in certain arenas or against other great players. They elevate their play. LeBron is one of those guys. He feels the moment. He understands the moment.
Michael, to me, he was an assassin. He was one of those guys that prepared himself extremely well and was relentless in his attacking. And there are a few guys who have that mentality. I think Kobe Bryant has that type of mentality, and LeBron has that type of mentality.
Our goal is a title. With LeBron, we are in ‘win now’ mode.
What LeBron James has done in our league is phenomenal.
There’s bigger threats in my neighborhood than LeBron James, so I have no fear whatsoever of LeBron.
People say a lot of things about LeBron, but he just keeps having a good mentality and grinding. That’s what I try to do, proving people wrong by what I do on the court.
I’m on a team with LeBron James and Chris Bosh, and they both dress well. It gets competitive. If I don’t bring my A game, they’re going to outshine me.
I would hope the NBA Players Association would say that people like LeBron could come out early because he’s so gifted, but if you stay, you stay three years. Your skill level will be greater, and the chances of you going to the NBA are much greater.
If I’m the Cavs, I seriously do this: I do a wink-wink deal with LeBron James, give him part ownership of the team. I put a statue in front of the building, and I retire his number. I do all of that.
You want to take a charge from LeBron James coming down the lane with no helmet on – that’s dangerous. But you know what? Some people like to do that stuff. So leave them alone.
I have no doubt that LeBron James would’ve loved to have played against Michael Jordan, but that simply is not going to happen.
It’s really annoying for me. That’s not what I’m playing for, to be the face of the NBA or to be this or that or to take LeBron’s throne or whatever.
LeBron will not likely win six rings.
LeBron had a pretty bad draft suit.
I am an all-around player. I’m like LeBron James. I can drive, I can shoot, I can pull up. To be honest, you can’t game-plan against me.
LeBron is more of a facilitator. Kawhi is probably more an attacking offensive dissecting the defense type of player… They’re both very good defenders when they turn it on. They can impact the game on both ends of the floor.
If you’re not that big player, then nobody’s really gonna know who you are to promote the brand. If LeBron says, ‘Go buy this shoe, it’s amazing,’ I would probably go buy it. But if some random person on the street was like, ‘Hey, go buy this shoe,’ I probably wouldn’t.
The craft of officiating is taught that people come and pay top dollar to see people like Shaquille O’Neal, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, all the stars, and you have to make sure when you blow the whistle against those individuals that it’s a foul that you basically can’t let go.
When you’re dealing with students who are at risk, who come from a place like LeBron and myself, you have to really focus on the whole student. And that means their parents, their family life, their home life, food.
LeBron James needs to go to another team with two superstars already so he can win a championship.
I’m looking forward to playing against LeBron.
We want to make the Cleveland Cavaliers a perennial champion and contender. We want people to be part of the franchise for long periods of time if they fit our culture, no matter who they are, whether it’s LeBron or anybody that contributes.

Do you know how many teams have won three straight titles over the last 40 years? Two. Michael Jordan’s Bulls twice in the 1990s and Kobe and Shaq’s Lakers from 2000-02. LeBron would have joined that list had Miami won that third straight title.
I loved LeBron when he was in Cleveland. Loved him in Miami. And loved him when he went back to Cleveland.
I fell in love with the LeBron 10s, I wore those for about five-and-a-half years and I didn’t switch over until the 14s.
LeBron’s been like a big brother to me, watching me play and giving me pointers on just little things. I really look up to him.
I did feel support right from the start from LeBron. He’s always shown me a great deal of respect dating back to our battles when I was in Indiana and competing with the Heat in the conference finals, and coaching him in the All-Star Game.
Honestly, I don’t listen to nobody else’s music but my own. It’s kind of like sports to me. You don’t see Kobe Bryant at a LeBron James game – he just works on his own game. And that’s what I do. I only listen to me, so I can criticize and analyze and all those things.
LeBron knows exactly who he is.

It wasn’t that I knew Kyrie wanted to be traded or not, or him and LeBron had a beef. I don’t know any of those things.
I would put LeBron on a track.
I am excited to play on the same team as LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love.
LeBron James can get a shot off under any and all circumstances and he makes them.
I would never do ‘Dancing With The Stars,’ because it’s just not fair. I am too good of a dancer. It would be like LeBron James playing little league basketball.
I broadcast games. I think there is a huge difference between print journalism and broadcasting. I don’t have to say, ‘sources close to LeBron James,’ five times a game. I can just put my name to it. I say what I believe. It doesn’t mean it’s right. It’s what I believe.
I didn’t know I was going to be really close with LeBron. I knew that we were going to be team-mates but I didn’t know that we were going to be this close. We have a really good friendship.
When you talk about such a tremendous player like LeBron, just trying to stop him one-on-one, you can’t do it.
I have so much respect for athletes like LeBron James. I get motivation from them because I know how many hours they put into it. It takes a lot of hard work and drive.
Every team I play, I’m playing them like we playing the Golden State when they had Kevin Durant. Every point guard I play, I’m playing Steph Curry. Every shooting guard I’m playing, I’m playing James Harden. Every three-man I’m playing, I’m playing LeBron and KD.
When I guard LeBron, I used to always want him to shoot, but he would just make the right play. He’s legendary for making the right play, and it’s really hard to guard when you’re a team player.
I embrace old age. Look, I’m never going to dunk on LeBron James, and I’ve learned to accept that. I got a pretty good life, and I’m very fortunate, and I have my blessings.
