If you have one guy taking all of the shots, you’re obviously not playing very fast, because you have to slow it down and wait for him to get to his spot in the offense. But when you just want the best shot possible, a lot of different people are going to get the ball.
I want to try out for Playmate actually. I talked to one of the photographers about doing test shots.
There are a plenty of shots that I have been amazed by, but a lot of these shots are played because you have worn an iron mask. Take away the protection, and let me see if they play them. Don’t forget that the past players did not have any protection.
I think with anybody who’s doing well in the public eye or whatever, there’s always gonna be a shift because people don’t wanna see somebody happy all the time. And they’re gonna try to take shots at people.
I look at like this: Any player I guard, long twos or shots like that, if they make them I still think that’s good defense. You can’t make those shots at a high percentage the whole game. It’s just hard to make long two-pointers, step-backs, fadeaways, off-the-dribble crossovers.
I work hard on the precision of my long shots, but you can’t plan it in games. Sometimes it all just opens up for you to give it a try.
Four More Shots’ is high on the glamour quotient and has perfect looking women. But to constantly look perfect is quite exhausting.
Golf is not a game of good shots. It’s a game of bad shots.

The acting is something that will always be a part of my life, but the writing gives me a lot more creative freedom. You’re a pawn in somebody else’s chess game, whereas as a writer and as a director, you get to call the shots. And that’s very thrilling.
They were so clever finding ways to get me the ball. They had to do more than just give up open shots. They had to avoid fouls and pass me the ball in traffic.
If you can deliver the big shots at the right time, they hurt.
We got tables they’re going through constantly, chair shots, all this, very dangerous maneuvers where you can possibly break your neck or something like that.
I don’t take bad shots.
They didn’t train me to be in the ring for five and a half hours punching air. So, it was hard, I had to get some body contact in there somewhere, it was mostly body shots and stuff. I had no clue, really.
I don’t like anything I see of myself on screen. I might like one scene or a few shots, but mostly I feel bad and keep kicking myself.
In this world, I call the shots and I think I know best.
The first year I kind of struggled to find where my shots was coming from, when to cut, where to be.
For me personally, short game, bunker shots aren’t too bad.
Yet another proposal would have us rocket the waste into the sun, but, as you’re probably aware, about one in ten of our space shots doesn’t quite make it out of the earth’s gravitational field.
If I ever get into the BKB, yeah, it would be fun. I never really liked the gloves in the UFC anyway. So, I think it’s better. You got to pick your shots. You got to be smarter.
If I made a musical in the beginning of my career, it would have been crane shots and tracking shots and people coming out of cakes and whatever, but these techniques are something that I’ve left behind me.
Yes, you’ll try and set up a batsman and get him to play a few shots. It’s just that you are always trying to play a mental game with the batsmen and as long as you are doing that consistently throughout the day and keep asking questions you are bound to be successful.
I can be a guy the guys can rely on, an anchor in the paint, whether it’s blocking shots or being on that help side.
In T20, batsmen are always going after you, so a good policy is to bowl five-six dot balls in your first two-three overs so that pressure builds on the batsman, and he plays riskier shots.
My game is kind of built around hitting shots – that’s what I take pride in, and it’s what separates myself from other guys.
Sometimes those shots I take won’t go in but I’m going to continue to take the same shots.
I think everyone is just expanding, with the centers shooting 3s. I think that just opens the floor up a lot more. A lot more shots are going up, a lot more freedom of movement. It makes it more of an exciting game.
I’ve been feeling really comfortable on clay because I have more time to set up my forehand. I can use a lot of different shots – drop shots and high balls. You can mix up a lot of shots, so it’s actually more fun to play on clay.
I’ve taken countless shots in my life, so you know the ones when you’re in rhythm, with a perfect release, and it’s on track, that it’s going in.
I knew I wanted to be an actor when I was very young. I guess I was about 6 years old at the time, and I was fascinated by television. I started having waking fantasies where I was in a movie and there were crane shots of me during a scene.
I’ve worked on my game to the point where anything they’ve asked of me, I try to come through and do it for them, whether that’s defending, making plays, being a decoy, or knocking down shots and being a scorer.
Here’s the thing about standup directing: not that hard. As I said on Twitter one day, or maybe it was Instagram – sorry, I want to keep my platforms straight – it’s essentially the same five shots over and over again. Seven if you’re ambitious.
If I can hit a couple shots early, the opponent guards me in a different way.
I am aware of what my opponent Avila brings and the experience he has. He’s tough, throws hard shots and is a good counterpuncher.
I don’t back down. Like, I don’t know how to flop. That’s never been a part of my game. For me to know if a guy likes to turn left shoulder or right shoulder in the post, I have an advantage. Or if he likes to go left all the time, I have an advantage. Or if he can’t make open jump shots, I have an advantage.
Sometimes it helps to take a couple days off, as weird as that sounds. Every once in a while, I could just shoot so many shots. You can get so, like, intense with it all. It’s like in life, right? We’re all created for a sabbath day or for a day of rest. You sometimes need that in shooting, too.
I was obliged to stand there, holding the leash of this creature for their welcoming publicity shots, implying that this was some kind of image the decided to have of me.
The quickest time to rehydrate is right after you’re done training, so I’m always carrying these gallons of water to drink, drink, drink so my body can recover faster. And that’s a huge part of being able to take damage, by the way. If you’re hydrated, your brain is lubricated, you can take bigger shots.
As a child, I was more afraid of tetanus shots than, for example, Dracula.
The stats suggest that I’m not a dasher. It doesn’t mean I can’t play the shots, but when you find a method in four-day and Test cricket that works for you, you stick with it.
I mean, some of the shots I take now I wouldn’t have dreamed of taking when I first put on a Heat uniform. I would’ve been like, ‘Who am I to take that shot?’ Some undrafted guy who averaged nine points a game his senior year in college.
I remember, when I won at Tucson by nine shots in 1975, I would say the average iron shot I hit that week was no more than two feet off line. It was unbelievable.
I could think six shots ahead. It’s no different to playing chess.
Sometimes you get nervous because you cannot make shots and then you rush your shot and then you take bad shots and then you get even more nervous.

It’s all about timing and taking out big shots at the right time.
In New Zealand, Tom Latham was batting and was continuously playing sweep shots. I tried googlies and leg spins but those didn’t work out against him. He was hitting me for boundaries. I was really disappointed.
It’s the most unrealistic thing you can do to shoot a close-up, and it’s the most unrealistic place you can be as a performer. And yet actors grouse about having to do visual effect shots, but they love doing close-ups.
I know it’s not particularly tech-savvy of me to suggest a camera that doesn’t have a touchscreen, but I think when it comes to candid shots of nights out with friends, there’s nothing better than a disposable camera.
If I hit the Klitschkos with the same shots I was hitting John Ruiz, both of them would go over.
Our bigs do a lot for us guards to get us shots, to get us shots, to get us open buckets, that they deserve the praise.
